“Of all the avoidable evils causing society’s problems, poor parenting is at the top of the list.”

WE HIRE GRADUATE STUDENT TRAINEES AND INTERNS WHO CAN COUNT MANY OF
THEIR HOURS EARNED WITH TEEN FUTURES’ BLW PROGRAM TOWARD BBSE
REQUIREMENTS IN WORK WITH CHILDREN.
Teen Futures was set up not only to inspire the futures of adolescents,
but also to offer training and practice to graduate students in
developing skills focusing on prevention rather than treatment
with a typical
group of public high school adolescents. Prevention is an extremely
valuable
emphasis to society for those choosing the practice of marriage,
family therapy. Teen Futures pays competitive hourly wages
for its part-time
employees. Group counseling skills, cultural sensitivity and interviewing skills can be practiced and improved in prevention work with Teen Futures’ multi-ethnic adolescents. The state of California calculates that every baby born to a teenager will cost taxpayers between $5000 and $17,000 per year for 18 years of that child’s life in the form of hospital, mental health, welfare, child care, legal aid and incarceration costs.
